We unconsciously associate these instruments with the art of Flamenco, but the reality is that many of them have not accompanied  palos ( different styles within flamenco) since their beginnings. The guitar is the instrument par excellence in Flamenco. But, in the beginning, Flamenco was not accompanied by music, and the type of singing was known as a palo seco.

There is a great controversy in determining the exact date on which the guitar was incorporated into Flamenco. Some experts estimate that it will be at the beginning of the 19th century. Others maintain that it was in 1850 with “El Murciano” in Granada, this guitarist is the first reference we can document.
