But also because of the novelty of its approach: it shows that flamenco is an evolution of the national songs and dances of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. It is a question of putting in solfa the history of flamenco and placing it in an Atlantic perspective. The task has not been easy, the subject is delicate to face with the rigor that is expected of a well-documented study. In order to carry it out, it has been necessary to check a good part of the more or less accepted dogmas about the processes that gave rise to flamenco.<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"text-h4 mb-2\">4. FLAMENCO<br \/>\n<span data-v-1bd2f6e8=\"\">\u00a0 \u00a0Carlos Saura<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"text-h4 mb-2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-857 \" style=\"font-size: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/flamencomadrid.com\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/51pcirjxr9l-_sx389_bo1204203200_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"222\" height=\"283\" \/><\/h5>\n<p>Carlos Saura reconstructs in these pages a contemporary history of flamenco through its most relevant figures, from Camar\u00f3n de la Isla and Paco de Luc\u00eda to Lola Flores, Cristina Hoyos and Antonio Gades, passing through Laura del Sol, Farruco, Farruquito, Matilde Coral, Manolo Sanl\u00facar and many others.
